IF Security is your main concern, As you dont allow any internet connection from your servers you say, I would not be looking at using a NOT supported, NON Commercial, NON Microsoft 'Donation supported' product for applying updates and security patches! Use WSUS server in a virtual domain.

Apr 29, 2016.com/2014/11/windows-server-2008-r2-32bit-and-64bit.html. Download an ISO for a 180-day evaluation copy of Win Server 2008 R2 to try.

2 NICS, one connects to the internet, other on a private IP Range connect to your servers. Servers are still issolated and you WSUS can be firewalled to ONLY allow connections the MS Update service for downloads and nowhere else. Simple, secure AND SUPPORTED. Canadian electrical code.

Back in 2014, there was a discussion regarding needing an ISO image for Server 2008 R2 to recover a server. Well, it's my turn in the barrel I guess. Our old server tries to boot, and stops with the error message BOOTMGR is missing. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to restart. Which just takes me back to that error message.

I can get into the BIOS setup, but nothing looks amiss there. Of course, being about a decade old, the original DVD for the OS is long gone, way before I showed up 2 years ago. Now I need a DVD to boot to so I can get into the command prompt during a repair and fix this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
